Identity Cloud Planned Maintenance - 11 February 2026 Release Notice - Week 07

Scheduled for Feb 11, 17:00 - 21:00 UTC

Scheduled

The Identity Cloud will undergo maintenance on February 11th, 2026 at 17:00 UTC. This maintenance is expected to last ~4 hours and consist of the following changes:

- The API Gateway at https://v1.api.[region].janrain.com will be updated to prepare for a future move to a new service cache. Functionality will remain the same after the update and the service will operate normally during the update.
- The browser interface for the Console will receive updated dependencies and a fix for a defect in the Manage Schemas section. This defect allows an Agent to select the “Reverse Index” option for attribute types that do not support this feature. During the update, the Console will continue to operate normally.
- The Hosted Login Service will be updated to address a defect introduced in last week’s release that causes an error response when a user attempts to “verify” their 2fa method by updating their profile to the same value as was already set (e.g., attempting to verify a 2fa email with the same email). The service will also undergo an update to remove a deprecated Redis cache. The service will operate normally and remain functional during the update.

* Component Area(s) - The Identity Cloud API documentation for each Component Area and Associated Service can be found on Akamai Techdocs.

* SSL certificates for Akamai Identity Cloud - All public-facing Akamai Identity Cloud endpoints are protected with HTTPS using newer versions of TLS. Akamai closely monitors security industry standards and works to make sure our systems are as secure as possible while maintaining reasonable compatibility with the majority of possible clients. For details, please reference the Akamai Identity Cloud Certificate Authority Policy on the TechDocs site.

* Custom JavaScript - Akamai reserves the right to introduce modifications to the Hosted Login service that may affect the functionality of custom JavaScript code. Impacts to custom JS are not considered service incidents, and it is the customer’s responsibility to revise their custom JS to accommodate changes to the product as needed. See JavaScript Injection on Techdocs.

* Reminder to please subscribe to our Identity Cloud status page to view and receive the latest Identity Cloud maintenance and upgrade schedule via Email, SMS, Slack, or RSS.

The service will remain operational during this period with no disruptions expected for any AIC customer or their users. However, if you experience a service issue during or shortly after this planned change please contact AkaTec at the numbers listed here.
